1937 – 2003
AUGUSTA – David Burhoe, 65, a resident of the Hall Dale Manor Boarding Home, Farmingdale, died Sunday April 6, at Maine General Hospital.
He was born June 28, 1937, in Jay, a son of Florin and Methyl (Wilkins) Burhoe. He received his education in Fayette schools. He had been employed at local shoe manufacturing companies and also for motivational services through Goodwill. He enjoyed fishing, singing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by one brother, Herbert Burhoe of Fayette; seven sisters, Jean Burhoe of Medford, Ore., Gay Reeve of Fayette, Mary Broad of Readfield, Percis Crimmel of Fayette, Doris Black of Livermore Falls, Norma Satori of Bangor and Eldora Pike of New Zealand and Maine; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents; his stepdad, Arthur Brown; a sister, Barbara Whittemore; and a brother, Arthur Burhoe.
