JAY – Army Pfc. Roland Breton will be honored Wednesday, April 9, as part of the ceremonies conducted by a local veterans group.

The POW-MIA committee of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Frank L. Mitchell Post 3335 of Jay, and the ladies auxiliary will be conducting a program at 3 p.m. at the POW-MIA Remembrance Bridge of All Wars monument on Riley Road in Jay.

April 9 has been declared by President George W. Bush as Former POW National Recognition Day, according to the post.

Breton, a World War II veteran, will be remembered at the ceremony.
