AUBURN – The Auburn School Department kindergarten schedule for 2003-2004 is announced.

The dates are as follows:

Fairview School: 784-3559, April 29 and 30 and May 1.

Washburn School: 784-5467, May 5 and 6.

East Auburn Community School: 782-4142, May 7 and 8.

Lake Street School: 784-2991, May 12 and 13.

Sherwood Heights School: 783-8526, May 14, 15 and 16.

Walton School: 784-1528, May 19 and 20.

To register a child, call the neighborhood school for an appointment. If unsure, call the superintendent’s office at 784-6431. Parents should bring the birth certificate, Social Security card and immunization record.

Mechanic Falls

MECHANIC FALLS — Children who will be 5 on or before Oct. 15 are eligible to enter kindergarten in September. Registration and screening will be held Thursday and Friday, May 1 and 2.

Parents are asked to bring their child’s birth certificate and immunization records. Call the school at 345-3381 to make an appointment by Monday, April 28.

Winthrop

WINTHROP — Kindergarten registration and screening will be held Monday through Thursday, May 12 to 15, at Winthrop Grade School. Call the school between 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for an appointment time at 377-2241, extension 249. The child must be 5 on or before Oct. 15. Bring the child, original birth certificate, immunization record and a recent photo.
