RUMFORD – Financial representative Ronald J. Theriault of Rumford has passed the Series No. 26 exam earning the designation of Officer of Supervisory Jurisdiction or OSJ.

This designation allows Theriault to supervise other representatives in the sale and service of stock market related contracts such as mutual funds and variable annuities.

The OSJ also has more frequent contact with supervisors and upper management of his or her broker dealer that oversees all sales activity for his or her office.

Theriault has been in the investment business for more than 17 years and is the owner of Summit Insurance & Financial Services on Congress Street in Rumford. During his career he has been the recipient of multiple awards including the National Association of Life Underwriter’s National Quality Service Award, which he received twice, their National Quality Sales Award and many awards of recognition from several companies.

Theriault is a native of Rumford. He is married to the former Sally Townsend. The couple have two children, Angela and Amanda.
