LEWISTON – HealthSteps at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center will begin a wellness class, “Nutritious Weigh of Life,” as part of its spring specialty program beginning Wednesday, April 23.
The six-session program will teach participants how to look at themselves and food differently. They will learn portion control, how to read labels and psychology behind food choices. They will receive menus on what to eat and learn how to make healthier choices for a more nutritious weigh of life.
The class will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesdays in the Potvin Conference Room at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. The class will be instructed by Heather Patterson and cost $25 for five sessions. Call HealthSteps at 777-8898 for more information or to register.
