LEWISTON – Members of area veteran’s organizations gathered at the Vietnam Memorial Marker on the Lewiston side of the Veteran’s Memorial Bridge in commemoration of the 28th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War.

Jerry DerBoghosian, president of the USS Canberra Association, delivered the invocation.

Armand Bussiere, past commander of the Longley-Dionne Post 9150, Veterans of Foreign Wars, read names of the deceased who were from Lewiston.

Ronald Arneault, officer of the day of the Longley-Dion Post, read the names of the deceased who were from Auburn. The service concluded with the singing of “God Bless America.”
