LIVERMORE – Charity Rebekah Lodge of Livermore Falls will entertain the vice president of the Rebekah Assembly, Lucille Nelson of Auburn, Wednesday, April 23, at their hall, the Ralph Wright Memorial Building at 284 Federal Road.
The 7:30 p.m. meeting will be preceded by a 6 p.m. hit-or-miss supper. Betty Mitchell and Laura Maxwell are in charge of the supper.
The annual meeting of the lodges in District 10 will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, in the Canton Community Building with Ponemah Rebekah Lodge as hostess and District Deputy President Jolene Adley and her marshal, Jeannette Buck, in charge. Other lodges in the district are Merrill No. 84 of Farmington and Carrabassett No. 123 of Kingfield.
Musical program
WILTON – The next meeting of Wilton Senior Citizens will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at SeniorsPlus. Local musicians Alan Hutchinson and son, Ray, will provide entertainment on keyboard and trumpet.
The meeting of April 16 was called to order by President Beverly Childs. Chaplain Edna Davis led prayers. A moment of silence was observed for Ilene Smith. A get-well card was sent to Geneva Ross. Speaker was Eileen Liddy, a nutritionist from the Healthy Community Coalition. Liddy presented the group with nutrition facts.
Ecuador trip
KINGFIELD – An informational meeting about the next adult education trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, in the Board Room at the superintendent’s office. The 10-day trip will take place during the February vacation in 2004. All expenses are included in the cost of the trip. The trip includes three days aboard a cruise ship on the way to and from the Galapagos Islands.

Taped services
PHILLIPS – Sunday services at the Phillips Shared Ministry are available on cassette tape. Anyone in the Phillips area can borrow a tape and tape player, if needed, to worship at home. Skating fund-raiser
LIVERMORE FALLS – The Wilton Early Childhood Center will sponsor an evening of roller skating from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at the Livermore Falls Skating Center. Admission is $1 with skate rentals at $2 and rollerblades at $4. Skaters may bring their own equipment. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Proceeds from this fund-raiser will support the preschool and adult programs offered at the center which is housed at the Academy Hill School. Call 645-4488 for more information.

Religious play
STRATTON – The program, God’s Amazing Grace, will be presented at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 27, by the Calvary Bible Church on Park Street. The play program presents the narratives in dramatic vignettes behind some favorite Bible women as well as John Newton’s testimony of God’s, Amazing Grace, which transformed him from a slave to a preacher of the gospel. This play will interest all ages.
The play is under the direction of Gwen Lynn. Those involved in the program include Caleb Carro, Maggie Carro, Gary Howard, Jacob Howard, Justin Howard, Jillian Lavierdiere, Pastor Mike Lynn, Rebekah Lynn, Stephen Lynn, Naomi MacLean, Hannah Vajentic, and Tyler Vajentic. Maine Lodge
FARMINGTON – Maine Lodge No. 20 will meet for a 6:30 supper Monday, April 28, at the lodge hall. A special communications guest officer from SAPPI Paper Mill will confer the Master Mason Degree. Work begins at 7:30 p.m. All entitled Masons are invited.
Stunt group
FARMINGTON – The Graduation Committee of Mount Blue High School will present Maximum Velocity at 7 p.m. Friday, May 9, in the high school gym. The inline skating and biking stunt group will perform tricks to music. Tickets are $7 and children under 5 will be admitted free. Proceeds will be used to offset the cost of graduation.
