1915 – 2003

LEWISTON – Carolyn Mason Arsenault, 87, passed away on Saturday, April 19, at the Marshwood Health Care Center, where she had been a patient for several months.

Born in Auburn, June 28, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Harriet Grover Mason.

On June 7, 1936 she married Theodore Arsenault, who passed away in March of 1987. For many years, Mrs. Arsenault assisted her daughter, the late Lois Camire, at the Camire School of Dance. She and her husband were well known locally for their musical contributions to the community.

She was also a volunteer as a pianist for Russell Park Manor and the First Auburn Senior Citizens, even after losing her sight, until she became ill.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Whitley and a sister, Dorothy Sagner, both of Auburn; one brother, Leslie G. Mason of Connecticut; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her extended family and many special friends.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Lois Camire and a brother, Donald Mason.
