FARMINGTON – Construction on the final phases of Franklin Memorial Hospital’s renovation and expansion project will create a temporary change to the hospital’s main entrance next week.
“Beginning Monday, April 28, patients and visitors will be diverted from the main entrance to the emergency room entrance for a period of seven to 10 days,” said Don Garrison, FMH chief of facilities management. “During this time, signage and extra volunteers will assist visitors in locating the main reception desk from the emergency room entrance.”
The two-year project has included new family birthing and pediatric units and an oncology area, which opened last fall. The new ambulatory surgical center will open soon, and the education center is expected to be completed in early July.
