LEWISTON — The Jesus Party Pentecostal Kids’ Church is joining with the Advocates for Children in the Blue Ribbon Campaign during April’s National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Kristy Meisner, prevention educator for the agency, presented Jesus Party leaders with large blue ribbons for the outside of the neighborhood chapel and blue ribbon buttons to be distributed to inner city children.

The Jesus Party is marking its fourth year as a child abuse awareness advocate and plan to continue to remind the community that it is everyone’s responsibility to protect children.
