This is in response to the letter writer who compared President Bush to Hitler.
Hitler murdered 6 million people – men, women and children.
President Bush, on the other hand, liberated more than 6 million people – men, women and children.
I feel President Bush should go down in history as one of the greatest leaders of our time. I also feel Gen. T. Franks should go down in history as having one of the greatest strategic minds of our time.
As far as our troops go, to have so many Americans willing not only to defend our country but to liberate oppressed countries just goes to show that our troops are the greatest force in the world and believe that everyone in the world deserves to enjoy the rights and freedoms that Americans take for granted every day.
I would suggest that the title of murderer should be put where it belongs, on the Osama bin Ladins and Saddam Husseins of this world.
I’m very proud to be an American. I know if I thought I was living under a dictator like Hitler I would leave the country.
