Accidents
Lewiston

• A vehicle driven by Keli J. Moore, 47, of Lewiston, struck the back of a vehicle driven by Suzanne T. Whalen, 43, of South Salem, N.Y., while Whalen was stopped in traffic at 8:20 a.m. Friday on East Avenue. Damage to Moore’s 1997 Mercury and to Whalen’s 2002 Volkswagen was estimated at $2,000 each.

• Vehicles driven by Sarah L. Martin, 18, and Ronald W. Peyser, 53, both of Auburn, collided at 11 a.m. Friday on Bates Street. Damage to Martin’s 1995 Buick was estimated at $2,000; to Peyser’s 2002 Toyota, $1,000.
