I am a 51-year-old veteran, single, with a litany of medical problems, no health insurance and a dead-end job.
Is there any chance we could get the U.S. military to flatten Lewiston/Auburn (with minimal collateral damage), so that those of us in similar predicaments might gain access to free health care and more fulfilling jobs?
Rome was not built, or destroyed, in a day. We seem to have the destruction part down pretty good. Building for the future seems to baffle us.
Where do we begin? Or end?
