1946 – 2003

CANTON – Roland “Sonny” F. Sincyr Sr., 56, of Lewiston passed away April 14, 2003 peacefully in his sleep.

He was born November 20, 1946, in Skowhegan, the son of Frederick and Mabel (Lessor) Sincyr.

“Sonny” did a variety of jobs in his life and enjoyed spending time with his sisters and their families.

He is survived by three children, Jo-Ann Stitham of Fort Drum, N.Y., Roland F. Sincyr Jr. of Bangor and Margaret Rackliff of Fairfield; five grandchildren, Robert, Rebecca and Emily of Fort Drum, N.Y., Nicholas of Bangor and Elizabeth of Fairfield; four sisters, Joanne Wickham of Windham, Shirley McIntosh of Augusta, Marlene Dyer of Lewiston and Sandra Goodell of Cornville. He also had many nieces and nephews who will miss him. Also a special friend, Golda Bickford, of Canton.

He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Linda Archer of Fairfield.
