INDUSTRY – SAD 9 administrators and representatives from the Board of Directors will come to Industry on Monday night to present the proposed budget for the 2003-2004 fiscal year.
The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. April 28 at the Industry Town Hall.
The board recently announced that the proposed budget is $21,239,979, a 2.3 percent increase over last year.
At the meeting, district representatives will explain the increases to area taxpayers and listen to recommendations that will be considered when the 15-member board convenes to set the final budget that will go before votes in early June.
Budget presentations will be held in Wilton on May 5 and in Vienna and New Vineyard in early May.
