Michael Heath is setting a personal goal to shut down the civil rights teams placed in many public high schools in Maine. Heath does not want taxpayer funds used to teach what he considers gay propaganda.

Heath and his crew went to the Augusta Civic Center, where the recent civil rights conference was held, and circulated their own religious propaganda toward gays/lesbian individuals. A 24-page handout claiming gays are immoral and linked to child abuse.

Twenty-four pages of religious hogwash.

God created not only men, he also created women, gays and lesbians in his image.

The Maine civil rights teams teach young people that it’s OK to be different.

In the past, if a child was born with a disability he/she was placed in an institution. When young adults discover they are gay they are forced to hide in the closet. Why? Because of the many powerful religious groups forever twisting the arm of government to make laws against what they claim to be immoral.

America went to war to liberate Iraqi citizens, granting them a taste of freedom. Yet, here in the U.S.A., America is still holding gay/lesbians hostage, denying them equal rights.

Who are the heroes in America? It’s the homosexual individuals who have to walk out into a country still filled with religious bias against them.

If Mr. Heath wants to save taxpayers billions he should shut down the Pentagon, not the civil rights teams.
