1930 – 2003

LEWISTON – Ralph Thompson, 73, of Sabattus, died April 27, at Central Maine Medical Center.

Born in Caribou, April 16, 1930, he was the son of Ralph and Lorraine Thompson who predeceased him.

He was the oldest of 15 children who will always cherish the memory of their big brother.

Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Olive and together they raised a family that consisted of two daughters, Terry and her husband, Curtis of Lancaster, Calif., and Bonnie and her husband, Adam of Sidney; one son, Jim and his wife, Diane Thompson of Niantoc, Conn.; and he will be fondly remembered by his eight grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

He leaves behind many friends that will remember his quick wit and willingness to lend a helping hand.
