LEWISTON – The Maine Department of Transportation will present details on replacing Riverside Street Bridge at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, at Lewiston City Hall.

The bridge carries Riverside Street over the Maine Central Railroad tracks about .1 mile west of Route 202.

Before proceeding with final design work, the department wants to share the work it has done and gather public reaction to it. The meeting in City Council Chambers will explain the plans, listen to comments and concerns, and answer questions about the proposed plans and the maintenance of traffic during construction.

A plan of the proposed project is available for public inspection at the Lewiston City Engineer’s Office.
