Dog show set
OXFORD – The Oxford County Coonhunter’s Club will hold a dog show on Saturday, May 3, at the Rock-O-Dundee clubhouse just before the Lake Thompson Fish and Game Association.
There will be a bench show at 2 p.m. with a $10 entry fee, a field trial at 4 with a $10 entry fee and a night hunt at 8 p.m. with a $12 entry fee.

Bow hunter class
OXFORD – Lake Thompson Fish and Game Association will hold a bow hunter course from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 3, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at the clubhouse on Paine Road. Students must attend both sesssions.
Applicants for a Maine archery license must show proof of having successfully completed an archer hunter education course or having held an adult archer license in any year after 1979.
