Bridgton potluck

BRIDGTON – Bridgton’s Community Center will host a communitywide potluck and panel discussion on Lakes Region community planning and goals. It will begin with the potluck at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at the center. Three panelists with years of experience throughout Maine will be on hand: Rich Rothe, Elliott Chamberlain and Dan Stewart. Chamberlain is building a Great American Neighborhood at Dustan’s Corner in Scarborough, and Stewart is a transportation and land use planner with the Greater Portland Council of Governments.

A brief PowerPoint presentation exploring new state laws on highway and roadway access management issues will be at 6:15 p.m. The panel discussion will begin at 6:45 p.m.

Organizers said that people’s potluck supper assignment is determined by the first letter of people’s last name. They’re asking A to J to bring dessert, K to S to bring a main dish, and T to Z to bring a salad. Neighbors and friends are invited to attend. For more information, people can call 647-2389.
