DIXFIELD – Items topping the agenda for SAD 21’s board meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 5, at Dirigo Middle School, include reviews and action on the Elementary Handbook and a review of the Student Fund-raising Activities policy.

Other topics include:

• An overview by Louise Chapman of the Dirigo High School sophomore class Community Service Day scheduled for Friday, May 16.

• A request by the Class of 2005 to hold a car wash Saturday, May 10, at Bangor Savings Bank.

• Accepting resignations of Dawn Wise, special education teacher at Dixfield Elementary School; Christina Bamford, Title I teacher at DMS; and Carol Rafuse, food service specialist.

• The superintendent’s report about response on a resolution opposing L.D. 1344, An Act to Give Teachers a Greater Voice in School Improvement.

Additionally, an executive session has been scheduled to discuss administrative contracts.
