1930 – 2003

FARMINGTON – Eleanor L. Tulley Hooper, 72, of New Sharon, died, May 6, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 8, 1930, in East Rochester, N.Y., a daughter of the late Charles D. and Elizabeth F. (Shears) Tulley.

On Aug. 20, 1949 she married Paul E. Hooper in East Rochester, N.Y. Mrs. Hooper enjoyed to read and was active in a bridge club. She was an artist and loved to paint. She will be remembered for her creativity with decorations and floral arrangements. Mrs. Hooper was a member of Messalunskit Chapter No. 170, O.E.S., New Sharon.

In addition to her husband of 53 years Mrs. Hooper is survived by four sons, Gary of Northeast Harbor, Mark and his wife, Lee Ann of Charlestown, R.I., Roy of Rockland and Randy and his wife, Marguerite of New Sharon; a brother, Frank Tulley and his wife, Elizabeth of Rochester, N.Y.; a sister, Jean Gardner and her husband, Donald of Beech Grove, Ind.; a mother-in-law, Nellie Hooper of Farmington; and 13 grandchildren
