JAY – Jay school superintendent Stephen Cottrell turned in his resignation this week.
Town Manager Ruth Marden and School Committee member James Durrell confirmed the resignation. However, as neither had seen Cottrell’s formal resignation letter yet, they declined to comment further.
Neither Cottrell, nor School Committee Chairman Clint Black could be reached Thursday night for comment.
