1963 – 2003

AUGUSTA – Irville “Bubba” Gilford Kennedy Jr., 40, a resident of 26 Sewell St., Augusta, died at his residence of a diabetic shock.

He was born Jan. 21, 1963, in Presque Isle, the son of Irville G. and Mildred E. Hatfield Kennedy Sr. He received his education at Leavitt Institute in Turner. Previous to his illness he worked in the construction field. He made his residence in Augusta. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, drawing and playing the guitar.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Irville and Carolyn Kennedy of Leeds; two daughters, Samantha and Heather Kennedy of Augusta; three brothers, Kevin Kennedy and his wife, Heather, of Winthrop, John Kennedy and his wife, Krista, of Readfield, and Gerald Kennedy of Bath; four sisters, Donna Danforth and her husband, Bruce, of Bryant Pond, Mandy Kennedy of Lewiston, Tina Kennedy of Bath and Alicia Johnson and her husband, Brian, of Woolwich. He was predeceased by his mother; and one brother, Melvin Kennedy, who died April 10, 1994.
