LIVERMORE FALLS – Selectmen will meet this week on Wednesday rather than Monday, as originally planned, so a full board can be on hand to discuss the remainder of the 2003-04 budget.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the town office.

Budget discussion will include adding a $500 item for phones and $1,500 for the heating fuel line.

They will also discuss the selectmen’s stipend amount. It has been suggested that it be reduced by 10 percent as a goodwill gesture.

The board also expects to finalize its recommendation on the Police Department, dispatch and insurance, and to discuss borrowing for road work.

Articles for the June 10 and 11 warrant are expected to be finalized.

Last week’s draft of the warrant contained 34 articles and, on several of them, had recommendations from both the selectmen and the Budget Committee.
