LEWISTON – The Jesus Party will host a special reality ministry meeting and a viewing of the documentary “Death by Entertainment” on Monday, May 19.
The meeting will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jesus Party Headquarters, 291 Bates St. The public is invited to attend.
The film, produced by Jeremiah Films, examines the impact of the media on our society. The Rev. Douglas Taylor, director of the ministry and overseer of this event, believes that there have never been so many media alternatives available to the masses, all in fierce competition for our time, money and affections.
“This is cause for alarm,” Taylor said.
Twelve-year-old Bible teacher Danielle Taylor will share a message on effective praying, and and 17-year-old junior staff member Lisa Kimball will share a message on returning to holiness.
The Glorybound Singers will perform gospel songs and a meal will be prepared for all those who attend. For reserved seating call 786-5568.
