Lisbon residents are fortunate to have some excellent candidates running for school committee. Harold Moran and Martha Poliquin are two of the most highly qualified people I know of to fill these positions.

Both Harold and Martha are experienced school board members. They have already demonstrated their dedication to education in Lisbon having spent several years on the board. Martha did an outstanding job as chair of the school committee during her previous terms. Harold is currently the chair of the school committee and doing an excellent job.

Both are committed to acting in the best interest of our children. They also have a great deal of experience with the intricacies of school budgets and have always acted as responsible stewards of taxpayer dollars.

These two candidates have proven themselves as effective school board members. I encourage support for Martha Poliquin and Harold Moran for school committee.
