YMCA supporters
PARIS – Representatives from the YMCA spoke on May 14 at the Oxford Hills Rotary Club’s breakfast meeting. Celia Dietrich and Angela Bancroft made a presentation in support of building a facility in Oxford Hills.
A YMCA could offer the community a recreational center featuring peewee basketball and other team sports, teen center, after-school programs, aerobics, climbing wall, playground, gymnastics, and lap and therapeutic pools. A survey of the Oxford Hills community showed overwhelming support for a YMCA recreational center. Votes for a pool topped the list of most needed and wanted facility.
