FARMINGTONKevin J. “Rugrat” Bellegarde, 39, of Dixfield, died Wednesday, May 14, at the Franklin Memorial Hospital. He lived on the Wilton Road in Dixfield and had lived in the area all of his life

Born in Rumford, Oct. 17, 1963, the son of Roland and Mary Anne (LeBlanc) Bellegarde, he graduated from Rumford High School in the Class of 1983.

He was employed as a mechanic at Casey’s Auto Sales in Mexico. He loved to hunt and fish and loved the outdoors, snowmobiling and loved spending time with family. Following a car accident which left him disabled, he was determined to move on.

He was married in Dixfield, on Feb. 14, 1988 to Laura Brown who survives of Dixfield.

Other survivors include sons, Jeremy Bellegarde and Stephen Averill and a daughter, Jessica Brown, all of Dixfield; parents, Roland and Mary Anne Bellegarde of Rumford; sisters, Karen White and husband, Roger of Rumford, Nancy Norberg and husband, Kevin of South Portland, Wanda Child and husband, Tom of Peru, Linda Law and husband, David of Dixfield and Brenda Smith and husband, Dan of Scarborough.
