Lewiston – The Maine Center for Women, Work and Community will host a presentation about the Women’s Economic Security Agenda, which organizers say reflects the voices of Maine women.

The event is in response to community forums in counties across the state where women have voiced their concerns about the economic issues that face their communities and their families.

The focus of the meeting is “Redesigning the Infrastructures,” which will explore housing, transportation, elder care and child care and how those issues relate to the needs of women and families.

The presentation is a chance for local citizens to decide how to use the “Agenda” as a tool for building economic security in the community.

The event will be held at from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 28 at Lewiston-Auburn College.
