1935 – 2003

LEWISTON – Monique E. Lessard, 67, of Lewiston died unexpectedly Sunday evening, May 25, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Montreal P.Q. on Oct. 18, 1935, the daughter of Alfred and Roseanna Roberge, but was adopted by John and Marie Louise Gagnon Bolduc.

She was a 1954 graduate of Lewiston High School.

She was employed at Knapp Shoe before going into the painting and drywall contracting business, Paul Lessard & Son Inc., until retiring in 1989.

She was a dedicated member and involved leader of Alcoholics Anonymous for the past fourteen years.

She was a kind and generous person, loved by all that knew her. She was known for her impeccable bookkeeping, love of her family and her unfailing ability to help those in need.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Paul Lessard of Lewiston; two daughters, Tina St. Cyr and her husband Anthony Corey, and Cindy and her husband Dennis Tuttle; also loved like a daughter, Francine Allard Gaskill of Ohio; three grandchildren, Justin St. Cyr, Kimberly St. Cyr and Sierra Tuttle; also loved like grandchildren, Michelle and Daniel Gaskill; two sisters, Lyse Rocheleau and Armande Poulin; one brother, Norman β€œTom” Bolduc; and many honorary family from AA organizations.

She was predeceased by her four brothers, Gaston Roberge, Royal Bolduc, Roland Bolduc and Lionel Bolduc.
