WATERVILLE – Tryouts for the 2003 Maine Event Field Hockey teams will be held June 22 at Colby College.

Following are the time slots: U-19, girls who will be juniors or seniors in the fall, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; U-16, girls who will be freshmen or sophmores in the fall, 12 noon to 4 p.m.

There is a $30 registration fee to be collected at the tryouts. Pre-registration can be made by contacting Linda Laughlin at 582-4889, or Heather Merrill at 474-8555.

Hoop tourney set

TOWNSEND, Mass. – The North Central Blaze Girls AAU Basketball Tournament is scheduled for June 14-15.
