NORWAY – Warren R. Merrill Sr., 69, of Greenwood, died Tuesday, May 27, at Norway Rehabilitation Center.
Born on Oct. 24, 1933, in North Paris, a son of George Herman and Lula Gary Merrill, he attended Mason Township and Bethel area schools and worked for many years at E.G. Blake & Son in Bethel.
Warren had been disabled for several years and had enjoyed riding his four-wheeler when he was able to.
Survivors include four sons: Preston R. of San Antonio, Texas, James A. of Albany, Warren R. Jr. of Greenwood and Mark A. of Portland; four daughters, Barbara Provencher of West Bethel, Donna Lapham of Albany, Shirley Walker of Bethel and Sonya E. Merrill of Portland; two sisters, Alma Merrill and Florence Merrill, both of West Bethel; 25 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and his companion of 23 years, Donna Dyke of Greenwood.
He was predeceased by a brother, George Merrill of Lincoln.
