LEWISTON – Brenda Joyce Lemieux, 44, died Monday, May 26, 2003, in Biddeford. Brenda was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and best friend. Your smile, laughter, sparkling eyes, your humongous heart, your stubbornness and hard headedness will be in our thoughts and hearts forever. You were the Rock of Gibraltar for your children and grandchildren. You always gave for everyone but yourself, but now God will take care of you.

She was born in Honolulu, on the Island of Oahu in Hawaii. She was raised and attended schools in Lewiston.

She is survived by her daughters, Shanna Marie and Katie Lynn Lemieux; and grandchildren Jada Marie Roy and Dorian Joseph Monaghan of Augusta; her siblings, Arthur R. Lemieux Jr. of Lewiston, Michael B. Lemieux of Jacksonville, Fla., Ramona L. Richardson of Jacksonville, Fla., Toni M. Lemieux of Manchester, Marilyn K. Oden of Biddeford, and Steven S. Lemieux of Auburn; her grandmother, Ida Emery of Auburn; her beloved boyfriend Robert Owen of Bowdoinham; several brother- and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and numerous friends. We will love you always.

She was predeceased by her mother, Jacqueline Joyce Lemieux, and father, Arthur Raymond Lemieux.
