LEWISTON – St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, as part of its Center for Physical Rehabilitation, has a new Wheelchair Seating and Mobility Clinic.

For those in need of a wheelchair, the clinic assesses each patient’s needs and recommends the most appropriate fit for a chair.

In addition to personalized fittings, the clinic alleviates the stress of paperwork by completing the necessary insurance processing for its clients, a spokesman said.

This allows for a speedy home delivery of the chair, according to the spokesman. The clinic also does a follow-up to address any problems.
