I am the grandmother of one of the boys that Russ Dillingham snapped a picture of and you published on May 17.
These kids need a place to skateboard and rollerblade. This is not a fad and it’s not going away. Most of these kids are teens, not getting in trouble, just looking for a place to have some fun.
We have the room and I’m sure local merchants would be willing to help. Even the kids would help by putting in time to help.
Lewiston and Auburn have nothing for teens to do but hang out. We all know that leads to trouble because they become restless.
