LEWISTON – WorkMed Occupational Health Services has become a member of the Employer Health Network, the national network of independent and hospital-based occupational medicine providers.
“We are joining EHN as part of our ongoing strategy to deliver local care nationally,” said Susan Olson-Gwozdz of WorkMed. “EHN is composed of similar organizations that are committed to providing quality occupational medical care to the employees of our local, regional and national corporate clients. In joining EHN, we will be able to provide the same quality care anywhere in the United States. This adds real value to companies that work with us and EHN member organizations provide occupational medicine services from pre-employment physicals and drug screening to worker’s compensation care and rehabilitation services.”
EHN member organizations represent 77 clinics in 21 states, according to Gary Payne, president of the St. Louis-based EHN.
“Our network of independent and hospital-based occupational health organizations provides regional and national companies access to quality, locally based health care throughout the United States,” Payne said. “While the service is provided locally, our network offers single source billing services which benefits companies seeking more control over their health costs.”
WorkMed Occupational Health Services provides a range of preventive and occupational medical services to more than 400 employers and their employees in Androscoggin County with state of the art occupational medicine, physical and occupational therapy, X-ray and lab services at 77 Bates St. in Lewiston.
