PORTLAND – Vaughn H. Partridge, 66, a longtime resident of Old County Road in East Livermore, died Monday evening, June 2, at Maine Medical Center where he had been a patient for four days.

He was born Sept. 5, 1936, in Livermore Falls, the son of Otho and Nell Hood Partridge. He was a graduate of Livermore Falls High School, class of 1955. He worked as a truck driver for Stevenson’s Trucking in Wayne before his retirement.

On Feb. 20, 1981, he married Janette Kimball. She passed away Nov. 19, 1993.

Vaughn was a member of the Oriental Star Masonic Lodge #21 of Livermore Falls and the Kora Shrine Scottish Rite.

He is survived by children, stepchildren and their spouses, Ken & Sheila Lyman of East Livermore, Janet & Raymond Lane of Glenburn, Janice Strout and her companion, Brent Brown of Glenburn, Jennifer & Daniel Morrell of Farmington, Terry Frost of Hudson and Alvin & Tammy Frost of East Livermore; a sister, Jean Burbank of Wilton; a sister-in-law, Jean Partridge of Livermore Falls; 10 grandchildren; a special nephew, Michael Partridge; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Glenn Partridge.
