AUBURN – Anita Withers 74, of 535 Jordan School Rd., Auburn, formerly of 15 Plummer St., Lisbon Falls, died Tuesday at her residence.
Born in Lewiston April 9, 1929 a daughter of Arthur and Amanda Martel Pinard she was educated in Lewiston schools. She worked as a C N A and also worked in local shoe factories.
She was married to Donald E. Withers who died July 8, 1995. She was a member of Central Maine Dart League, a life member of VFW Post 9459, Lisbon and the Left Hand Club.
Mrs. Withers was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed her dog “Missy,” crocheting, playing darts and gardening.
She is survived by Kenneth and Maryanne Withers, Beverly Walker, Marilyn and Reginald Desmarais, Gail Enman, Donald Jr. and Fern Withers, Sandy and Maurice Poulin, Brenda and Reinaldo Acevedo, Daniel and Brenda Withers, Cindy Withers; 22 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Pinard and companion Terry; a sister, Jeannette Webster.
