AUGUSTA – The Committee for Women’s Activities of the Maine State Grange held its annual Dress Revue on May 10.

Mary Goss of Minot Center Grange 266 won Best of Show for her two-piece suit that included a scalloped-bottomed top, lilac pearl buttons and a fully lined skirt.

Thirty-nine items were submitted for judging and prizes were awarded as follows:

Class A, Adults: first, Mary Goss, Minot Center; second, Betty Chatfield, Castine; third, Gail Thompson, Garland.

Class C, Children’s Garments: first, Donna Beauchesne, St. Albans; second, Jane Tolman, New Sharon; third, Laurie McBurnie, Nobleboro.

Class D, Professionals: first, Donna Beauchesne, St. Albans.

Class E, Wearable Art: first, Pat Libby, Farmington; second, Joan Ladner, Bunker, Hill; third, Laurie McBurnie, Nobleboro.

Class N, Non-Members: first, Patti Page, Bangor; second, Dolores Stone, Bangor.

In addition, there were 20 entries for the Dress-a-Doll contest with prizes as follows: first, Brenda Washburn, Canaan; second, Mariam Black; third, Fran Sodano, Schodic.
