GRAY – Incumbent Dick Barter and Matt Sturgis were elected to the Gray Town Council with 708 and 590 votes, respectively, Tuesday.

Sturgis is a former New Gloucester selectman.

Former Councilman Mark Sanborn received 456 votes and David Knutsen garnered 427.

Heather Skillings and Dawn Bailey were chosen for the SAD 15 Board of Directors with 819 and 593 votes, respectively.

Other candidates included Tami Plummer with 539 votes and Sandy MacDonald who had 73 write-ins.
