CANTON – The Canton Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department will host its second annual Canton Summer Fest at the ballfield at the Canton Municipal Building on Saturday, June. 14.

A flea market/craft fair will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the municipal building. Tables are available for $10 and $15.

There will be a fireman’s muster from 10 a.m. to noon with door prizes, refreshments, games, dunk tank, petting zoo, horse and pony rides, homemade pies and judging contest, women’s fry-pan throwing contest and jailhouse.

The Generic Judge Band Zingo-Zango will perform from 2 to 5 p.m.

Admission to the ball field will be $5 for adults, $3 for children age 10 to 17 and free for children under 10.

Whitney Masonic Lodge 167 wil host a chicken barbecue at noon for $5.

Proceeds will go toward the four-wheeler accounts. For more information, call Fire Chief Wayne Dube at 597-2767.
