Minor division softball: D&R Framing defeated Pacios Rausch 15-11. Ashley Arnold and Gabrielle Hutchins were the hitting standouts for D&R, with Kory Norcross providing strong pitching and defense. Shaylin Collins scored two runs for Pacios Rausch, with Courtney Pelletier boosting the offense and Julie Keene making several good plays in the field. AEA “Aces” downed Pacios Rausch 12-3, with Crissy Lewis striking out eight batters. Crissy Lewis and Nicole Leavitt led the offense, with Phoebe Chamberlain headlining the defense. Mallory Morneau and Maria Comeau each went 2-for-2 for Pacios Rausch. Felicia Stewart chipped in on the mound and defensively.

South Lewiston

Major division softball: Coastal Tee Shirts pulled off two recent wins. Coastal edged Caron’s Auto Body 11-8. Coastal had strong pitching from Hannah Rodrigue and Liz Obie. Lyndsay Smith and Katie Kennedy hit big home runs. Carley Dennis smacked a triple. Caron’s Patricia DeFosse also pitched a strong game, and Mary Caron shone defensively. Chantalle Lavertu and Liz Obie pitched Coastal to an 11-1 win over Play-it-Again Sports. Monica Truchon started things off with a double. Catcher Katie Kennedy threw out two would-be base stealers. Play-it-Again pitcher Emile Cloutier and catcher Katie Kobb played solid games.

Major division baseball: Aroostook Fence defeated Dube Gravel behind three hits from Ben McDonough and a double, single and two RBis from Jon McDonough. Logan Rossignol was the winning pitcher. Kegan Cote went 4-for-5 for Dube, while Jeremy LaPierre belted a double and two RBIs. Gendron’s Mobil also picked up a win over Dube. Ryan Moore went 3-for-5 and scored the mound victory. Nick Daigle was 2-for-2. Cody Mousseau went 1-for-2 with a double, while LaPierre homered and drove in four runs.

Baseball: Cross Insurance defeated Hannaford 9-3. Chris Jacques picked up the win, with Cody Lessard notching the save. Lessard slugged three hits, while Casey Parker ripped a double and a bases-clearing triple for Cross. Max Lessard chipped in a double, and Alex Parker scored three runs. Dave Ouellette and Ryan Lemelin were top defensive playmakers. Ben Chicoine and Alex Lagrange were Hannaford’s hitting stars.
