1917 – 2003

WEST PARIS – Stanley P. Heath, 86, of West Paris, died Saturday, June 14, at the Ledgeview Rehabilitation and Living Center.

He was born in Sumner on April 14, 1917, to George and Clara Chandler Heath. He was educated in Sumner Schools. He drove truck and worked in the woods with horses. He worked for many years and retired from Penley Brothers in West Paris.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and farmer. He loved working in his garden and supplied vegetables to many friends and relatives.

He was married to Eleanor Jones on Sept. 29, 1946.

He is survived by three sisters, Marion Dillingham of South Paris, Beverly Farrington of Jay, and Barbara Bellegarde of West Paris; one brother, Erwin Heath of Greene; a friend and companion, Dot Parson of Canton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor; and a sister, Esther Lawrence.
