LISBON FALLS – Space is still available for most courses offered by Lisbon Adult Education for the summer session, which will begin Monday, June 23. Academic courses will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from June 23 to July 30.
Courses offered are English and Algebra II. Both provide high school diploma credit and may be used to meet college prerequisite requirements. A math refresher course will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays starting June 24.
General Educational Development testing is offered twice a week, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays and from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays. A GED preparation class will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays starting June 24.
Several computer and office classes are available. Computers for Complete Beginners will meet for six weeks from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesdays starting June 24. Keyboarding II will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. Mondays starting June 23, and an Office Practice class will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays starting June 25.
Drawing in Different Media is a basic drawing class, which will meet from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays starting June 25.
An early morning aerobics class will start Monday, June 16, and will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. A Common Household Repair class will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays starting June 25.
A Great Falls TV videography class will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, July 15 and 17. Two safety classes will be held if there is sufficient enrollment. The classes are boating safety and ATV safety.
More than 200 online courses are available. Classes are scheduled for six weeks and students have eight weeks to complete the course.
