BRIDGTON – Headmaster David N. Hursty has announced the appointment of new officers to the Bridgton Academy Board of Trustees. Robert L. Teel Jr. ’65, Essex, Mass., has assumed the position of president of the board, replacing Bruce A. Chalmers of Bridgton, who has completed a four-year term as president and who remains on the board.
Kevin D. Hancock, Casco, president and chief executive officer of Hancock Lumber, is vice president of the board. Treasurer is Norman Nicholson of Bridgton and secretary is George E. Mullin ’59 of Bellingham, Mass. Mullin is vice president of human resources for Associated Industries of Massachusetts.
At the May 9 meeting, trustees also elected the following new members to the board: Kraig M. Haynes ’78 of Greenwood Village, Colo., who is vice president of Haynes Mechanical Systems; Anthony J. Scibelli ’62 of Springfield, Mass., senior partner in the law firm of Scibelli and Vivenzio; and Pamela Specht of Boyertown, Pa., president of Specht Insurance Group.
Cynthia Choate of North Bridgton and Chet Homer of Kennebunk left the board of trustees after completing 10- and six-year terms respectively.
