• Gerald S. Carter, 35, of Shapleigh, lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole at 10:40 a.m. Sunday on Sabattus Street, near South Temple Street. Carter’s 1993 Ford was totaled.
Auburn
• Russell Mann, 44, of Auburn, lost control of his vehicle and flipped the vehicle onto its side at 1:01 a.m. Thursday on Jordan School Road. Damage to Mann’s 2001 Chevrolet was estimated at $4,000.
• Vehicles driven by Cass Edwards, 38, of Auburn, and Benjamin A. Barton, 23, of Brunswick, collided at 3:34 p.m. Thursday on Washington Street. Damage to Edwards’ 1998 Chevrolet was estimated at $2,000; to Barton’s 1994 GMC, $50.
• Vehicles driven by Thomas Printup, 18, of Poland, and Peter A. Steele, 37, of Minot, collided at 3:28 p.m. Thursday at Mount Auburn and Park avenues. Damage to Printup’s 2000 Pontiac and to the 1998 Lincoln, driven by Steele and owned by Rowe Ford, of Auburn, was estimated at $3,500 each.
• Vehicles driven by Laurier C. Potvin, 64, of Auburn, and Beverly B. Miller, 68, of Minot, collided at 11:20 a.m. Thursday on Mount Auburn Avenue. Damge to Potvin’s 1992 Chevrolet was estimated at $6,000; to Miller’s 1985 Ford, $3,500.
• A vehicle driven by Penelope Hilton, 55, of New Gloucester, struck the back of a vehicle driven by Ronald C. Trepanier, 36, of Greene, while Trepanier was stopped in traffic at 8:01 a.m. Wednesday at Washinton Street and East Hardscrabble Road. Damage to Hilton’s 1997 Geo was estimated at $1,500; to Trepanier’s 1994 Dodge, $1,000.
