1918 – 2003
CHELSEA, Mass. – Wesley W. Dearborn, 85, died Wednesday, June 18, at the Soldier’s Home after a period of failing health.
He was born on Jan. 13, 1918, in Livermore, the son of Percy and Persis Child Dearborn and was educated in the Livermore schools. During World War II he served his country in Northern Italy and North Africa.
When he returned, he was employed at New Departure Food Co. in Bristol, Conn., and in various restaurants in the Boston area. He had resided at the Soldier’s Home for a number of years where he enjoyed participating in many activities and taking part in the sightseeing trips.
He is survived by a sister, Celestia McIntyre; a sister-in-law, Margaret Dearborn of Auburn; four nephews, Danville Dearborn Jr. and his wife Peggy, and James, Richard and William McIntyre; two nieces, Dorothy Maxwell and her husband James, and Ellen Dearborn.
He was predeceased by four brothers, Daniel, Danville, Joseph and John Dearborn; and a sister, Edith Hall.
