PORTLAND – Twin babies Xavier N. and Vlladimir D. Worster were both born Monday, June 16, and died minutes apart shortly after birth at Maine Medical Center.

They are survived by their parents, Holly Weikel and Benjamin Worster; and all the family who you’ve touched.

Rest in Peace, my little sons. Your life was over before it began, you were with me for not much time, five short months that you were mine. Then one day you had to go, the reason why we’ll never know.

The night you were born, I knew in my heart, you will always be with me though we’re apart. You were both so tiny but perfect to me, little fingers and toes, perfect as can be. I held you in my arms, I didn’t want to let go.

Here’s a few things I want you to know…. When you left, you took a part of me, something that no one can see. You have my heart with you always even on the cloudiest days. All your family loves you too, even though most never saw you! When you felt us give you that kiss, Forever in our hearts. Together in Life and Together in Death, Love you Always Mommy, Daddy and Family.
