The state of Maine’s largest street festival will be held June 26 through June 29, on Shopper’s Island in downtown Rumford. New this year is Carr Shows, which is a popular carnival, featured in the downtown business district. Area merchants will feature Moontide madness sales promotions with extended hours and great values. Crafters will be joining the downtown merchants daily to show off their wares. Each night there will be live entertainment for all to enjoy on Exchange St. on Shopper’s Island. Bring your lawn chairs and come on out to the carnival.
